My ayahuasca journey guided by Bas was an unforgettable and profound experience. His musicality and beautiful voice created a vibrant soundscape that elevated my journey to a level I could never have imagined, even beyond my own imagination.

Bas had a special gift for sensing exactly when I needed support. Without words, he knew how to be there at the right moment, with a presence that radiated calm and confidence. He felt like a father figure watching over me, making me feel completely safe and secure.

Thanks to his guidance, I was able to fully surrender to the process and experience the journey in all its intensity. Bas is not only a guide, but also a custodian of the experience, someone who works from the heart and guides with great care and dedication.

For many years, I felt a calling to experience Ayahuasca, yet for various reasons, the timing never seemed right. However, in June 2025, everything shifted, culminating in an extraordinary journey that was not only blissful but also profoundly heart-opening and transformational.Prior to connecting with Bas, I had contemplated the idea of traveling to the Amazon for this experience. Listening to my intuition proved to be crucial, as Bas and Iria curated an incredibly nurturing and loving environment for our journey. Their authenticity and kindness permeated every aspect of the experience, making it feel truly special. The meticulous attention to detail they provided was remarkable—everything from the setting to the ambiance was thoughtfully arranged. The music played throughout the ceremony was nothing short of enchanting, enhancing the experience in ways I never anticipated. I am eternally grateful to these two remarkable souls, Bas and Iria, for their dedication and the beautiful experience they facilitated. My first Ayahausca experience facilitated by soul return 🙏 I have been wanting to experience Ayahausca for a couple of years now and the opportunity to travel to The Netherlands presented itself, I knew this was what I’d been asking the universe for. When I arrived at the ceremony I was of course nervous and anxious about what was about to unfold. But thankfully as soon as I walked in I was met by Bas and Iria, two of the most authentic and beautiful souls I’ve ever met, they shared some of their experiences in life and what bought them to Mother Ayahausca, both bought me to tears with such love and admiration for them both. They made me feel instantly at ease ( still a little nervous, but that’s normal for a first timer) x their presence made me feel seen and heard and loved in such a way I knew I would be safe. Something so important to be able to let the plant medicine do its work. The space they created was beautiful and comfortable. Once the medicine was in my system I did struggle to let go of my inner voice, constantly fighting and trying to understand what was happening, but again both bas and Iria was able to make me feel safe enough to continue, for which I am truly grateful. The music that was played by bas was extraordinary and a wonderful experience which I now know is so important during ayahuasca, bas has this connection to us and the music that is needed, he was such a genius on the piano and the guitar which carried me through the journey I was on. They attended to us which such compassion and understanding, I am planning on sitting with Ayahausca again and I can say with 100% certainly that it will be with soul return 🙏 Even after returning home they still hold space for me and my experiences and questions. Even though I feel I have unfinished business with the medicine I still know it has changed me so deeply and has set me on a different path than I was on, it’s shown me such important lessons, one being how connected we all are. So thank you Bas and Iria for your strength, love and support ❤️

Six years after my first ayahuasca ceremony, I decided to participate in another ceremony with Bas. My previous experience had been very positive, and I felt it was time for a new phase in my personal development. I was stuck on certain issues and longed for clarity and healing.

The preparation felt like a soft landing. Bas offered helpful reading tips, practical advice on nutrition and meditation, and through the app, a sense of connection quickly emerged within the group. It felt as if the journey had already begun, like an inner purification even before the ceremony.

On the day itself, I was a bit tense, but that tension quickly disappeared. The conversations with Bas, Iria, and the other participants helped with that. A beautiful altar had been created in the lovely ceremony room, and the space had a wonderful energy, making me feel safe and supported.

After a joint meditation and setting our intentions, the journey could begin. My journey began subtly: soft colors, memories, images. Later, it became more intense. I felt a blockage that I couldn't seem to break through. With Iria's loving guidance, I was able to break through this barrier. What followed was a powerful release through my voice. Very liberating and healing.

I gained valuable insights into the women in my family lineage and was able to release old patterns within them. Even the more difficult moments during the journey were easy to bear, precisely by surrendering to them. The music played a significant role in this: profound lyrics, healing sounds, and Bas's live piano music, featuring personal songs, made the ceremony magical and unique.

What I take away from this experience are concrete insights that I can start working with immediately and emotional insights that I may have already known deep down, but had forgotten.

I highly recommend Soul Return to anyone who is willing to turn inward, who dares to look at old layers and longs for deepening in a loving, safe and professional setting.

What an experience this was! Bas elevated the experience with his musical talents, both vocal and instrumental. Magnificent! There's no other word for it.

As soon as we arrived, it felt very comfortable. We were warmly welcomed and discussed a few things.

During the trip we were also closely monitored and assistance was offered if necessary.

There are so many other things, but I think you have to experience it all for yourself. With Bas, you're definitely in good hands. That's one thing for sure!

If I ever do something like this again in the future, I will 100% be doing it with Bas again!

I have done two ayahuasca ceremonies with Bas, one of them being a full weekend. It has been the most transformative experience I have ever had. I was able to process things that even ten years of therapy would not have healed.

Letting go of control is something I personally struggle with, and I also found it difficult to truly turn inward. Bas sensed this immediately and supported me in a fantastic way, guiding me to go deep while making me feel completely safe.

The entire ceremony, from beginning to end, was exactly what I needed. The space felt warm and welcoming, almost like home, and even the scents in the room added a beautiful touch to the experience.

What truly made the difference for me was Bas his gift with music. The way this man plays is absolutely breathtaking. It doesn’t matter what instrument he touches. His music reaches the deepest part of your soul. It’s impossible to put into words how healing this is, and how deeply grateful it makes you to be able to experience it.

I have also attended an ayahuasca ceremony elsewhere, but nothing came close to the experience I had here. Until next time! 💕
